Michael is a USPTA Certified Tennis Pro with a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University. He played Division Three Tennis for Ripon College Tennis Team where the team collectively won the MWC twice! Michael has a vast amount of experience, with over 20 years of coaching at all levels.
He was a Sectional Winning Men’s coach at DeKalb High School in DeKalb, Illinois. Additionally, he was formerly Head Tennis Professional at Boulder Ridge C.C. in Algonquin,Illinois as well as a teaching assistant at Heritage Tennis Club. Michael’s strengths include being able to quickly appraise the game of his students and develop a strong working rapport in order to improve their skills while fostering a love of the game.
