More than 250 juniors call Frontenac their tennis home. On the court, it’s all about the strokes… developing them early to help prevent injuries as games grow over time. All season long, it’s about fun – with level-appropriate matches, weekend parties, novice events and more.

Instructional Clinics
Participants in early sessions have priority over openings in later sessions. All clinics are billed in 8-week sessions. Refunds are not given for missed classes. Make-up classes are available throughout the week.

Instructional Clinics
Instructional clinics teach the foundations of the game in a relaxed, friendly, positive atmosphere. Because the goal is to nurture a lifelong love of the game, everyone involved with the junior program exudes high energy and genuine enthusiasm for every improvement, big or small, in your child’s skills and attitude.

Junior Competition Program
If your child would like to compete in local and regional tournaments, play high school and even, someday, play college tennis, the place to start is the Junior Competition Program.
Players are encouraged to play at least three days a week, compete in local tournaments, and actively work on their games in a serious and focused manner.
And as is true of all our programs, the competition program is a positive one. You won’t find coaches ‘motivating’ players with harsh tones of voice or belittling comments — only genuine appreciation for a job well done and gentle, constructive feedback when it will help someone get over an obstacle.

Gateway Tennis Tournaments
Entry level match play for aspiring tennis players. This exciting competitive league features:
- One-night tournaments on Saturday evenings
- Age divisions for each gender: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and under
- Events held at local indoor clubs
- Full-court competition
